I Love It! September 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The total gym is perfect for me with my health concerns. It's always good to stretch 1st and it's so easy for me to do that with my Total Gym. It's so easy to learn how to do the exercises correctly w/o a trainer, and easy to use. The only downfall with this is that it is heavy and not the easiest to set up. It is also not easy to fold and tuck away. Make sure you have the space for it.
total gym was not for me August 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes, this is an awkward, heavy, and inconvenient piece of equipment! I had it in my one bedroom condo, and to get it out of the way was a pain in the...! It does NOT fold away easily. I think this is why I used it infrequently. I should have stuck with my elliptical. I think the bars were missing, but I had no way to recover that. I tossed it in the garbage after several months, and I think someone picked it up. Good luck to that person and good riddence. I will purchase something else, but not a total gym. Two stars for effort.
Great product, very happy August 26, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Total Gym 1100 is worth buying. How can you beat the price! It is perfect for beginners and intermediate workout plans. You will not get big and bulky from this machine, but you will tone up and fast. The number of excercises seem limitless. The fact of the matter is, this machine is way more fun than lifting weights and it does not get boring. Also, one of the main reasons I bought this machine is that you don't need a spotter as you would with heavy free weights. The initial set up for this machine is pretty easy. Transitioning between excercises is equally as easy. All in all it's a great addition to my workout plan. I highly recommend this product.
Total Gym - What a fabulous deal!!! August 24, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am not one to follow trends or a person who has to have the latest and greatest. What I look for is a solid, reliable product I can depend on that lasts a long time and is sold at a reasonable price. This product EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! The price is unbelievably low and the Total Gym is a wonderful, multi-purpose workout machine. It takes a little while to assemble and it is a little awkward at first to set up each day, but after a short while (less than a week), I had the setup/breakdown procedure down pat. I am recovering from heart surgery at the moment and am currently using it at the second level. I started at the first level. I love the ability to progressively increase the workout to stay challenged. Additionally, it is great to get both a strength and aerobic workout from the same equipment. This is a winner - if you're looking for one, snap up one of these deals before they are gone. I'll definitely look to this Vendor in the future!
Would Recommend Very Highly August 2, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The Total Gym 1100 is a very good buy. It is very easy to set up. When it is shipped to you, 90% of the equipment is already assembled. Great value for the money! With the Total Gym 1100, you can do 70 different exercises. With all those exercises available, who needs anything else? You will love it like I do. Great for someone that has children and doesn't have much time. All you do is exercise 15-20 minutes 3-4 times a week. Good luck!
