Product Description Equivalent to several pair of dumbbells, FreeMotion Space Saver dumbbells put an entire set of weights into a single pair. Simply move the knob to your desired weight setting and lift. You can choose between 10 to 50 pounds of weight on each dumbbell for a maximum weight of 100 pounds.

| Customer Reviews:
I own the Weider version. Appears to be identical to FreeMotion December 2, 2008 I bought these for the P90X program I am doing. The weight is pretty accurate, within 1/2lb. of stated. The quality seems good. In fact, after seeing a destroyed display set of Bowflex Selectechs at Sears with broken plastic everywhere, I felt these would be more durable. I like the fact that these come with the stand, which, with other sets like this, you normally have to pay for. It's true you have to align these a little when putting them back on stand after use(if you left some weights behind) but it is pretty easy and once you do it a few times you can do with quickly. A monkey could operate these with no problems, believe me. The only thing I can really complain about, and the reason I don't give these 5 stars, especially given their price point, is that the switch to adjust the weights is a little vague in lining up with your weight choice. The switch can also be a little finicky in sliding back and forth when set is new, although, adding a little lube seemed to help mine. I have also been told it breaks in after some use even without lubrication. For the money I paid on sale at Sears( $224) you can't beat this set in my opinion.
Try something else. October 23, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Bought and returned the next day.
The sliding mechanism for changing weight doesn't function well at all. It tends to stick and by design requires 2 adjustments per dumbbell per weight change. Placing the dumbbells back on the stand is somewhat cumbersome as well as you need to carefully align all of the plates.
Add all that up and you'll spend too much time configuring the dumbbells. The dial design to the Bowflex alternative is better (I've tried it). The dumbbells also are somewhat bulky (particularly noticeable when using smaller weights). To be fair, this critique applies to all adjustable dumbbells.
Astonishingly bad design August 28, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am simply stunned at how poorly designed this product is. When lifting the dumbbell, it will frequently grab weights that it is supposed to. Since these extra weights aren't attached, they will fall out if you use the dumbbell.
Putting the dumbbell back in the cradle is almost impossible. There are ten 5 lb weights, and the spacing between them is _way_ too small. I actually have to remove some of the weights to get the dumbbell back into the cradle.
