Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description Save space when setting up your home gym with the Reebok Speed Pac adjustable dumbbell pair. Each dumbbell offers five different weights--ranging from 2.5 pounds to 12.5 pounds--with a maximum of 25 pounds of total resistance. To change the weight, simply slide the pin into the corresponding slot and you're set. Once you've found a spot for the Speed Pac weights, you'll have all the resistance you need in a single space-efficient location. The weights are notably compact at just less than 5 inches tall, with a specially designed storage tray that measures a mere 7.5 by 13.5 inches and fits conveniently on a bookshelf or table. The weights also include cushioned handgrips for maximum comfort. About Reebok Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.
