They do what they are meant to. August 25, 2008
It's a great product a little iffy on the screws the only reason this doesn't get a 5/5 is because of the box it was really bad. But can't complain at this price.
Great value June 11, 2008
For the price and the low shipping cost, these are great, some of the plates have some white spots on them, but that really does not matter. I had needed a couple extra plates, so I ended up just buying a second set. Now I can keep two different barbells set up to transition faster from exercise to exercise.
These are perfect to use with my Cathe videos and of course general weight workouts.

The bar is lightweight and the set has a nice feel to it when loaded. It is perfect for home use with video workouts such as Jari Love or Cathe Friedrich. I would supplement this set with some 2.5 lb weights. The 10 lbs plates are a tad bulky, but at this price - who cares?

These weights aren't the best, bust for what I paid for them they're worth it. There was a little discoloration on some of the weights though, but other than that they are a decent buy.
