i have fybromylgia and this machine helps with the pain...as well as tones! my mom has a similiar, but sturdier version of this. this is good for the money. i will probably splurge on a better one later on though. if you can find one where the base is a little bigger and heavier, i would go with that...it will make a huge difference in the toning. even if it's only an inch bigger.
