I have several sets of dumbbells and have used numerous others throughout the years. I have been completely satisfied with this particular product. I have used them with my aerobic exercises and have even carried them while running. (They make a very nice weapon and they make me feel more secure). The various colors of these neoprene coated bells are quite smooth and easy on the hands. There is absolutely no rust problem and the coating is quite durable and can take quite a beating. I do suggest they be ordered in pairs. I have two of each weight offered. They are quite handy and are easy to store when not in use. I think these are a great product and the cost is certainly reasonable.

Perfect little dumbbells for light weight training. Neoprene cover makes them easy to hang on to and comfortable in the hand. I like 'em!

I never saw anything in writing about the cost of shipping so of course it cost almost triple the amount of the weights to send them to me. I think that was totally unfair. I sent an email to the company but no response.

I purchased my Cap Barbell neoprene dumbbells from a local fitness store a couple of years ago.
These neoprene dumbbells come in either all black or various colors (coded by weight in 1# increments from 1# up to 10#). They are good quality dumbbells (comparable to Troy brand) and great for weight training at home. The neoprene dumbbells are less damaging on flooring, don't smell bad, and (because of their hex shape) don't roll away. They are also easier to grip and more gentle on your hands (especially if you prefer to weight train without gloves).
In addition, the 1# or 2# dumbbells are great for toddlers/kids wanting to exercise at home with mom and dad.
